Cape Range National Park
The Cape Range National Park (Ningaloo) stretches across 50,581 hectares of enduring limestone ranges, sparkling beaches and imposing canyons. Located on the west side of the North West Cape (Palyadi Manu) near Exmouth, Western Australia, this echo of ancient landscape is home to an abundance of unusual flora and iconic Australian fauna. Go on a walk and you’ll come across wild native flora like the white version of the usual scarlet red Sturt’s Desert Pea, or discover Mangrove Bay, a sanctuary zone featuring a bird hide with a paradise-found lagoon within eyeline. To really indulge in the full safari-style experience of this region, reside at Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef in the heart of the park. Here you can stay in one of 16 off-grid luxury tents, book a guided day hike of Mandu Mandu Gorge, snorkel the World-Heritage-listed Ningaloo Reef, then pause for a moment of evening reverie at dinner with crystal-clear views of the Milky Way.
