Toast the Top End’s legendary sunsets with a front row view of the horizon. Located in the capital city of Australia’s Northern Territory, Darwin Harbour features incredible wildlife, historical landmarks and spectacular views of this tropical metropolis.

Observe the evening skies in comfort aboard the Charles Darwin. This vessel has two air-conditioned levels, the Captain’s Deck (lowest and largest) and the Bridge Deck (in the middle). Sundeck is the sensational upper level, the ideal spot to experience Darwin at dusk. You can dine as the sun goes down against a stunning backdrop of vibrant oranges, magentas, scarlets, and golds. A sunset cruise of Darwin Harbour is truly a sight to behold.

Tours depart daily from Stokes Hill Wharf (Feb–Nov).*

*Limited services during the wet season (Oct-Apr).

WHEN TO VISIT

MAY - OCTOBER

Dry season, with its clear skies, balmy nights and warm days, is the most popular time to visit the Top End. The temperature drops to a relatively cool 25 degrees on the harbour. For those who struggle with humidity, the dry season offers more comfort.

NOVEMBER - APRIL

The wet season brings hot and humid weather, lush greenery and bursts of rainfall. The Charles Darwin offers two air-conditioned levels, which are a great option in these warmer months.
