Monarto Safari Resort is a multi-million-dollar holiday destination next to Monarto Safari Park, the largest open air safari experience outside of Africa.
This unique resort includes 78 guest rooms and suites, 20 luxury safari tents, two swimming pools, conference facilities, restaurant and bar. Marula Day Spa will further enhance the experience and includes a luxurious Soak House, with vitality pool, sauna and cold plunge pool, with views of the savannah.

Located within an hour’s drive of Adelaide in South Australia, Monarto Safari Resort is situated within Monarto Safari Park and Wild Africa precincts, in the heart of the picturesque Murraylands.
You will find us at 63 Monarto Road, Monarto, and free parking is available to guests. Safari Lodge is located adjacent to Monarto Safari Resort within the Wild Africa precinct.

Monarto Safari Resort is comprised of a hotel, lodge and spa. The hotel sits on 17.85 Ha of diverse land and overlooks a watering hole accessed by the native and African animals of Monarto Safari Park. The hotel features:

While Monarto Safari Resort is truly a unique destination, during your stay, it’s your place to call home. Sit back and relax in Kutjera Restaurant & Bar, and savour the flavours of this remarkable land.
Kutjera showcases locally sourced South Australian ingredients and produce with which our culinary team have curated a menu featuring contemporary Australian cuisine.
Our restaurant is open to both guests and visitors for breakfast, lunch and dinner, seven days a week.
SAFARI LODGE
Opening in April 2026, Safari Lodge combines the thrill of the wild with the comforts of world-class hospitality, redefining luxury safari experiences in Australia. Nestled in the heart of Monarto Safari Park’s Wild Africa precinct, the spirit of Africa comes alive. Just one hour from Adelaide, Safari Lodge offers a truly unforgettable safari escape where conservation, connection and luxury meet.
ACCOMMODATION
The luxury safari tents are thoughtfully designed to immerse you in nature without sacrificing indulgence. Each tent features a King or Twin bed, ensuite bathroom, private dressing room, lounge area, and an outdoor deck furnished for relaxation with uninterrupted views across the waterhole and beyond.
The vibrant central lodge, accessible only to guests, is home to the exclusive restaurant, a private dining space, plunge pools, a gym and pickleball court, and an outdoor lounge with a beautiful firepit.

As you explore the parklands from the comfort of the accessible Safari Truck, you’ll have the opportunity to observe and photograph animals including Southern White Rhinos, Giraffes, Cheetahs, Eland, Ostriches, and Zebras. You’ll be served some light refreshments along the way so you won’t miss a minute of the action. This tour is exclusively for Monarto Safari Resort guests.

SUNSET WILDLIFE SAFARI

Soak in the last rays of the sun on the Sunset Wildlife Safari small-group guided tour. You’ll enjoy exclusive access to Monarto Safari Park after hours, with ample opportunity to immerse yourself in the vast parklands and watch the free-roaming herds of African animals across 550 hectares. As you explore the parklands from the comfort of the accessible Safari Truck, you’ll have the opportunity to observe and photograph animals including Southern White Rhinos, Giraffes, Cheetahs, Eland, Ostriches, and Zebras. Drinks and canapes will be served during the tour, capping off the unforgettable experience. This tour is exclusively for Monarto Safari Resort guests.
